Rural Opportunities for Agri Tourism - ROOTS
This project is funded through the EU Life Long Learning Programme - Grundtvig
This project focuses on helping people in geographically and socially disadvantaged areas to become involved in the development of rural and agri-tourism activities based on a clear knowledge, understanding and respect for cultural differences.
The main objectives are

to raise awareness of good practices in areas including customer service and quality

to preserve the family unit by involving family members in economic activity
-
to provide transnational exchanges for young employed/socially disadvantaged people.
The aims are to improve the equality and accessibility of mobility in adult education, improving the quality and increasing the volume of co-operation in adult education and assisting people from vulnerable social groups and in marginal social contexts

Partners include a range of organisation from Romania, Holland, Italy and Spain.
